Around 1,000 Cessna 206s have been sold since 1989. Today, the basic price for this plane is $515,000. It comes with large wheels so that it can take off
and land on runways just 300 metres in length. The aircraft is also available as a seaplane.
The standard Cessna T206H’s range is too low for some legs over the sea. Which is why the rose-painted plane is
fitted with tip tanks, or in other words additional tanks at the tips of the wings that increase the range to 1,850 km.
Therefore, there’s still the emergency reserve of fuel for three quarters of an hour’s flying time that’s customary in aviation.
The rose-painted plane has a Textron Lycoming engine
