Apart from our families we were largely supported during the preparation by the following persons:

Many members of the Earthrounder Community supported us in an outstanding way, especially Ulf Mühlbacher from Bremen, daring his first earth orbit flight in 2006, and Stephan Perren from Switzerland, flying round the globe in 2005.

We were helped by our colleagues from Hannover and Bremen plus responsible persons at the airfields of Hannover and Husum.

The Röder Präzision company in Egelsbach near Frankfurt/Main, above all Mr. Biedert, Mr. Raum, Mr. Schaefer and Mr. Scholz who helped considerably with the preparation of the aeroplane and the installation of our special requests.

Muhterem Özbel of Flight Service International (FSI) at Karlsruhe-Baden Airport helped considerably to provide the air route, to organise the handling agents locally, to ensure landing permissions. He made sure that we get oxygen, de-icing fluid and of course Avgas on the airports, not least making the flight plans for the appropriate sections of the journey round the world as background.

Sven Laurien of the company Visa123 procured for us nearly all visas in Berlin.

The Aesculap Pharmacy in Bremen and Dr. Gehre in Hannover advised us comprehensively about vaccination and danger areas and provided a personal vaccination plan.
