13.03.2007 Husum/Hanover: After saying our farewells in Husum we head for runway 21. Three other aircraft are already waiting to accompany us. No other aircraft is approaching, so that after a run up we can go full throttle straight away for take-off.

Marie takes off easily and after just some 1.000 feet (ft) we're touching the clouds. Two planes escort us, flailing their wings.We make our ascent through the thin clouds and into wonderful sunshine.

We have radio contact to Bremen radar. We get the go-ahead for Hanover via 'VOR LBE' and ascend to Flightlevel 090 (approx. 3.000 metres). We can see a lot of cumulus clouds beneath us. After just 20 minutes, we spot the Elbe and Hamburg.

Landing clearance for Hanover is short. Radar guides us to runway 27.

We land, refuel and then go to the hotel. Our friends and family are waiting for us for the farewell dinner? with just a small glass of champagne.

After all, we need to be fit to fly tomorrow.
