25.11.2015 Gran Canaria:
Because of our ambitious flight plan, we weren’t able to gain any great impressions of Gran Canaria either. A sightseeing tour, or any other expedition, or a chance to get to know the locals wasn't possible. However, the Radisson Blue is a top hotel and can be recommended. The reception is on the 11th floor and the whole building is built on a slope which continues on down to the beach. Therefore, the first floor includes the exits to the beach and the breakfast restaurant. But on that evening all I wanted to do was take a quick shower, have something to eat and go to bed so that I was relaxed for the next day. But there was another little episode to report. To start with I couldn’t operate the shower because only water for a bath was coming out of the taps. In the end and in desperation I decided to have a bath instead of a shower. But while in the bath I realised how the shower worked. But by this time I’d already had my bath. I went to bed with a grin on my face and fell asleep very quickly.
