Pilot Uwe Thomas Carstensen (64) and his co-pilot Martin Grohganz (60) are enthusiastic supporters of the African continent and the people who live there.
For many years, Uwe Thomas Carstensen and Frau Maria Carstensen have supported development aid projects in Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. In 2005 the two of them
established the MUT Foundation which liaises closely with the German Foundation for World
Population (DSW).
Martin Grohganz has visited North Africa by car and in a small plane several times, developing his empathy with Africa.
Now both of them are flying over African states to make a small contribution to understanding between African and European peoples.
We're looking forward to all the people we will encounter and all their different political and religious views.
